Family Day

On Wednesday, Sean took a vacation day and we decided to have a family day. Sean's mom has been in town visiting and we took Colby out of school for the day and headed down to Hermann Park. It was actually our first real 'family' outing with Owen and the double stroller. There is a little train that runs around Hermann Park and since Colby is obsessed with 'Choo-Choo Trains', we decided to take him down for a ride or two. The night before we kept telling Colby that he was going to get to ride a train and that little boy was sooo excited. Every other sentence out of his mouth had something to do with riding a train. Before bathtime, during bathtime, after bathtime, before and after mommy reading him stories, he kept saying, "I'm going to ride a train?!?". (like a broken record!) And we kept repeating, yes Colby.. tomorrow. From the moment he woke up on Wednesday morning, he kept asking about riding a train. He kept asking 'Where is it?', I don't see it? He had no patience whatsoever. Once we actually got to Hermann Park and got on the train, Colby was in absolute heaven. We are going to have to figure out a way to take him down there more often because he had so much fun.

After riding the train, we went to the Children's Museum where Colby had lots of fun running around playing with all the exhibits.

Colby even got to milk a 'cow'.. (Which he thought was 'Yucky') lol

We ended the day at the deli in the museum and had a quick lunch.

It was a good day, enjoyed by all :)
